VP, FINANCE: Regular Full-Time
Oversee all Stations financial operations. Prepare annual financial budget and monitor to see that objectives are achieved. Knowledge of TV station operations and ability to make recommendations for operating efficiencies. Supervision of finance department including credit and collections, accounts payable and payroll functions. Responsible for accurate and timely preparation and review of financial statements/results. The position is responsible for reporting financial issues and results to both station and corporate management. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Finance or Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university. CPA or MBA a plus. Prior broadcast financial management experience required. 5-7 years supervisory experience required. Position required strong managerial skills. Extreme proficiency with Excel/Word. PeopleSoft/JDEdwards financial system and traffic systems experience a plus.
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE: Regular Full-Time
Responsible for all aspects of list accounts while also generating new business for the Station. Also responsible for creation and sale of unique promotional sponsorships. Candidate should have college degree and 3+ years sales experience (television sales preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skill. Solid organizational and computer skills. High motivation to succeed. Must be detail oriented. Experience with MS Office. Ability to work well under pressure.
